I remember when I got my first job as a teenager in a newsagents, the most exciting thing ever for me was using the POS systems there – I just loved scanning things through on them and hearing the beeps. People thought I was kinda strange and looking back now I don’t blame them, I would think I was a lunatic looking back on it now.
