A Wedding Photo Booth is a Great Idea

I saw a wedding photo booth on TV for the first time this week on a cheesy little show I like to watch called Four Weddings where 4 brides attend each others big day and then rate them based on a number of criteria and the winners get a gorgeous honeymoon. It always amazes me how critical the women are of each other as most of the weddings look amazing to me. On the episode I saw a few days ago a woman marked someone down 4 points because there were a lot of people there and it meant she couldn’t get a good view of the first dance!

The photo booth is a great idea though as it adds a bit of fun and excitement to the day and provides your guest with a great momentum to remember your day by and also you keep a copy and get to look through them at a later date and see all the fun your guests were having when you weren’t around.

The should have had one at the Royal Wedding last week, imagine getting your picture taken in a photo booth with a member of the royal family? Not many people could say they’d done that haha

Cruising along

I came across some great cruise deals the other day on a bargain website I am a member of, there’s some really great offers about at the moment and although I’d never even really considered a cruise before it is starting to look like a good idea. We could easily get a cruises from uk and travel the world for a month or so for our honeymoon rather fly out to Australia as we were hoping to do. It would be a whole lot more convenient as you have your luggage with you the whole time and wouldn’t have to live out of a backpack and stay in Hostels.

There’s loads of cheap cruise holidays available for the period we’d like to travel in so it’s a ‘definite maybe’.

Planning a wedding

I was helping a friend find a location for her wedding reception dallas earlier today, she’s getting married in the summer but has not started planning yet, I don’t think she understands just how much time and effort has to go into planning a wedding – she only wants a small one but still, they take a lot more work than she realises that’s for sure.

Church weddings

Nothing beats a church wedding in my opinion, and it’s not because I am uber religious because actually I am not at all. I just think that there’s something extra special about getting married in a beautiful churh, it really adds to the occasion in many ways – making it feel more special and official somehow.

I love the gorgeous church chairs, stained glass windows, flowers and wooden floors and everything else you’d associate with a church.

I wonder if church weddings are falling ‘out of fashion’ somewhat though because I attend a lot of weddings and have only been to one in a church over the last year or so whereas it used to be at least one in every three I’d say.

I sure do hope that’s not the case as I always enjoy them and remember them that little bit more than weddings held elsewhere, and I tend to take a lot more photos as well.
