Why is it that everything breaks at once – and when you’ve been saving up your hard earned pennies for a new dress?

I might just order one online from MR Direct rather than going out and getting one actually, I think after the week I have had I deserve a PJ weekend – not a DIY store weekend!

Looks like something has gone wrong with the washing machine – I had a look in the book by the phone for numbers for plumbers in Denver metro and called someone right away but it’s going to be a few hours before they get here.

That gives me time to try and get it cleaned up at least.

I am not sure how I am going to manage that though because the water is still gushing out and as we’ve only lived here a few months I don’t actually know where the main water stop tap is – I am trying to get hold of my husband or landlord but neither are answering their phones.

Why is there never a man around when you need one but they are always there to be a nuisance when you don’t? :P
