We’re headed on a quick touring vacation in my aunts RV in a few weeks time, it’s only going to be for a week and a half but there will be a lot of driving involved.

I remember when we went away last time and got the Chevrolet Silverado checked just before setting off even though we were sure every thing was OK, and were told we needed a pretty big brake job and that it would have been very dangerous to drive as it was – totally shocking and it taught us the lesson that it’s always worth getting your vehicle checked out before you set off on any sort of long journey – why risk not doing?

It’s ready for the scrap heap!

She has had nothing but problems with that car over the last few years, I have told her to treat herself to a new one that’s going to be more reliable but she says she loves it too much to replace it – I’ve never really understood why people become attached to cars, my dad was the same with his old one and literally drove it until the day it fell to pieces.

Well at least she knows the best Los Angeles auto repair place to take it to by now, it’s almost like her second home!
