He Forgot?

I asked my husband for some sexy lingerie for Valentines day and he didn’t get me any, he forgot apparently. How many men do you know that when asked for sexy undies from their other halves would forget about it haha? I have been half expecting some to turn up since then as a belated pressy (for both of us) but it has not been forthcoming! Oh well, maybe one day.

Triton wedding bands

I was looking at some triton wedding bands earlier and they are actually really nice, my other half would like a platinum ring but I’m not sure our budget can quite stretch that far so I have been looking at alternatives. We are going to go to the store tomorrow and have a look at some ‘in the flesh’, hopefully he will like them too

Ticket Fiends

If there’s one thing I love it’s going to shows and concerts, I just got my MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Tickets in the mail today and am super excited. There’s just something about getting your tickets through that gives me great satisfaction. I also can’t resist a bargain so have seen some shocking shows in my time, you’d think I would learn that if they are practically giving the tickets away there’s a reason for that, but apparently not!

I’ve just been looking to see what Key Arena Tickets are currently available, we’ve been there several times before as it’s a great venue and they have a lot of great events running.

Husband got some Radio City Music Hall Tickets last weekend as well as he’s as obsessed as I am.

Can’t get enough

Still wanting a dog

I still have not managed to convince my husband that we should get a dog, I’ve been trying so hard for so long but he just doesn’t want one. The thing is I think he’s just being stubborn for the sake of it, I bet if I don’t mention it for 6 months he’ll say OK — but I find it impossible not to mention it because I want one so bad! I can’t wait to go buy pet supplies and I am determined it will happen one day!

How I met the Husband

My husband and I met online you know, almost 10 years ago now.

At the time I was embarrassed to admit that, because it was before the days when online dating sites and the like were cool and the Internet was such a common place to meet partners.

We didn’t meet on a dating website however, we just met randomly in a chat room — knew each other for around 4 years before we eventually met up and the rest as they say, is history

I am so lucky in that I have a husband who knows how to fix a computer, I have never had an issue that he wasn’t able to sort out for me sooner or later.

The only downside is that he’s not always around, he works nights and is often away for as much as six days at a time with work – so when I break my computer he can’t always get to it right away.

Or at least he couldn’t until we discovered the remote connection software from ProxyNetworks.com called Proxy Pro 7 – as the name suggests it allows for people to connect computers across the Internet so that it doesn’t matter if he can’t actually be here, he still has the ability to have a poke around my computer to see what’s going on and even control it so that he can fix it from where he is.

We’ve used this software a few times now and it’s an absolute life saver. He’s also fixed my parents laptop a few times doing this.

Proxy Pro 7 can be used in so many ways, not just for troubleshooting but how about so that people can collaborate on projects or simply sharing data?

Online Dating

I remember when the Internet used to be for nerds, if you spent a lot of time online you kept it to yourself as people would assume you were some kind of socially inept loser. These days every one is at it – kids, cool teens, adults, grandparents – it’s come a long way baby. One thing that was a definite ‘no no’ online was dating someone you met on the net, that was the ultimate in loserville but these days it’s totally normal, it’s one of the most common ways people get together. My husband and I met online around 11 years ago now, we met in a chatroom we both used to hang out in and we knew each other online for 3 years before we eventually met just as friends as it was never really ‘like that’ between us online, although we enjoyed a good flirt – we started dating and the rest as they say is history

I have just been looking at the gorgeous Seiko Kinetic Watches on Bluedial.com, I am thinking of buying one for my husband who just got promoted a few weeks ago He’s worked for the same company since he left school so it’s amazing to see that they really appreciate him and what he does and have given him a much deserved step up the ladder, and of course the little extra money he will be bringing in each month will help a lot!

I actually got him a new watch for his 30th birthday though and he didn’t like it, he is very picky – so if I do decided to get one I will definitely be picking a few out as options and then letting him make the final decision.

I don’t know where he is…

…Husbands car went to the dealership last night so that they could look at it this morning, there are several little issues with it like the electronic wing mirrors not always working and lots of little rattles — and the warranty runs out on Friday so he’s taken it to get looked at before it does.

Well he went to pick it up 3 hours ago now! The dealership is a 2 minute walk away. He’s not answering his cell so I have no idea what’s happened or where he’s ended up.

Not that I am worried about him, there will have just have been a problem he’s engrossed in — but still, he could call to let me know what’s going on.
