I’m heading to London in a few weeks time for my friends 30th birthday! Can you believe I have never been there before? 30 years on this planet and a seasoned traveller but I have never ventured to my own capital city!

There are many places we want to see and things we want to do in London and are having to seriously condense as we are only there for 3 days.

One of the things I like to do when I visit any new place in the UK is have a go in the Quicksilver Games Casino and have a quick flutter, and when I say quick I do mean quick – I go in with a set amount in my mind and stick to it. If I win I tend to remember it and associate it with the place long after I have left, I distinctly remember winning £57 on a £5 stake when I went to Liverpool in 2008

We’re definitely going to be going on the London Eye and heading to Peckham – it’s such a diverse and multicultural area and of course it’ll be great to have a look at good old Del Boy and Rodders stomping ground, I grew up watching Only Fools and Horses
