A wee tale about my work.

By 9.30am we were literally swimming in canon toners, paper, ink, cartridges and two new printers. By 10.30am we’d taken another 6 deliveries of various items…from desks and chairs to signage and LCD monitors.

The office I work in is very small, there’s only a handful of us there and the people who run the company aren’t the most organised of people to say the least.

On Friday I was working with just one other person, a 65 year old man I might add. At about 9.02am my boss called to tell me there might be one or two deliveries I would need to sign for today as they had ordered some supplies from GM Supplies Ltd.

A few deliveries? That’s not what I call a few deliveries. We were both absolutely worn out by the time we’d lugged every thing in and once it was in we had no idea where to put it, we then spent the rest of the day trying to work around it.

What a hassle! On Thursdays the office is full with over 15 people in it, but they chose to get all this stuff delivered on Friday when there is always only a handful of people in. Grr.

Oh well, at least I burned some calories.
