Why does it always look like people on American TV are just back from a trip to a dentists having had Beverly Hills dentures done? I know that the British have a reputation for having poor teeth, but the glowing white poker straight look just looks comical to me – I’d rather have slightly skewif and off white teeth than look like I am in an advert for toothpaste 24/7!

It amused me when Simon Cowell went off to America with regular teeth and the next time we saw him he was also rocking that ‘perfect’ smile.

That said if I did want or need work doing on my teeth, I would want to go to the very best of the best in cosmetic dentistry and I would be happy to pay a premium to get them done in comfort or even luxury.
