I think I am going to drag my dearest husband along to shop for tableware sets with me at the weekend, oh he will love me for that.

He hates shopping, especially for ‘boring housey things’ as he calls them.

Personally I love it. We redecorated the kitchen recently and a nice matching tableware set is pretty much the last thing I need to get before I can call it ‘completed’. The new design is really modern and funky — our designer was brilliant. Oh wait, our designer was me hehe — and we definitely need a new set to go with it as the old one is a hand me down from my in laws and looks like something out of the 80s. Definitely not in keeping with the current style at all.

I was just on shopworldkitchen looking for ideas and inspiration and they have loads of really great sets that would be ideal. I tried to show my husband earlier and he told me to just pick them, he always tells me that and I always do, but I still think it is courteous to ask his opinion – even though he’d probably prefer it if I didn’t!

I am sure I will be able to get something that is ideal
