As you know by now, as it seems to be my main topic of conversation around here recently, we’ve just finished completely redecorating our brand new home. All in all it’s cost a lot of money, mainly on furniture, fixtures and fittings. It’s also taken a very long time – we started the project back in February.

But it’s been worth it and completely rewarding. Every time I sit down on a piece of furniture it took us two weeks to pick out or look at a wall I almost broke my back painting I feel warm and acomplished inside.

My parents have just announced they are going to redo the kitchen and would like our help. We can’t say no as they helped us so many times, we couldn’t have done it without them actually, but it sure would have been nice to have a bit of a break from picking furniture lol
