I always had an interest in becoming a beautician, I have heard a lot about may Nevada beauty schools including Destination Academy – which is a well known and respected beauty school in the area.

I always think that it’s a really rewarding job but not in the typical sense, if you told people you are a beautician they are generally not going to think of you as someone that helps people – not like a nurse or something. But making people feel beautiful is a rewarding thing, most people who go to beauty salons do so because it makes them feel better – getting a tan, getting waxed or even getting a relaxing massage etc are all things that are going to make people feel really good about themselves.

Of course I never did train to become one and I don’t plan to start now as I love my current career so much.
