I have always wanted a modern platform bed, but the last time we needed to get a new one a friend of ours was selling his ‘new’ spare one – it had been in his spare room and slept on a couple of times by guests, but they found out they had another baby on the way so needed to use the room as a nursery – they offered us the bed for an absolutely steal of a price, so although it was not the sort of bed I would choose it was impossible to say no at that price. It’s a really good quality bed also
