Aaah don’t you just love that satisfied feeling you get when you know you have just saved yourself a whole bunch of money and got a real bargain? I’d say that after the feeling I get from eating chocolate it’s my favourite of all feelings – ah what I big silly girl I am hey?

We needed to get some new spare parts for our old faithful car (which needs renaming as it has not been very faithful recently!) and took it to the local garage who had a quick look and then quoted us some ridiculous price. I told my husband I was sure a quick google search for Car Spares and 5 minutes research time would be enough for me to not only beat that quote, but to totally trash it!

Sure enough I was not wrong and we have the Car Parts we needed at less than half the price Mr Grumpy at the garage quoted us – I knew he was just trying his luck and I tell you now we won’t be taking the car there again. Places like this need to realise it takes years to build up a relationship with a customer but only one incident to totally destroy it.
