I love taking photos, and I love how easy it has become to do so these days. I remember as a teen that it used to be expensive to own a camera, you had to go out and buy films that you could only take 24 photos on and then you had to pay a small fortune and wait a week to get them developed.

Waiting for photos to come back was always so exciting because also you had not already seen what they look like!

Now with digital cameras for $50, huge SD cards and instant home printing the whole process has completely changed. Every time I see 100s of pictures uploaded to albums on Facebook and the like I think how awesome it is compared to how it used to be.

I personally don’t have a printer at home that can do photos justice and I do sometimes like to own hard copies of them, so I still so send them off to get developed sometimes and I always shop at the same digital camera store when I need new supplies for my digital camera. It’s not an expensive one, it doesn’t need to be for my needs, but I still love it because I am a total shutter bug
