I have never been a huge fan of gold jewelry – It’s always been able silver for me, in color at least…so silver, platinum, heck even white gold.

That was until recently though, my aunt who I hardly know bought me a little gold locket and I felt obliged to wear it even though it wasn’t really to my taste – she wasn’t to know that I am not a fan of gold and it’d be rude not to. Well after a few weeks of wearing it I got really used to seeing it and decided that actually I really did rather like it.

I have now asked for a gold matching bracelet for Christmas from my mom so I guess you could say I have been converted
