I remember back in the days I was at school and had to wear eyeglasses, they were so much more expensive than they are these days but of course being a child I didn’t really care about that.

My mom would nag and nag and nag me about how I had to be careful with them as they were very delicate and cost a lot of money – despite that I think I must have got through at least a few pairs per year. I would sit on them, drop them, stand on them and lose them on a regular basis.

Oh dear.

Now I find myself as the one doing the nagging, pleading with kids to take care of their eyeglasses and despairing when they don’t!

I wonder if they’ve invented ‘kid proof’ glasses yet?
