One thing that I love doing when I am visiting new places is check out the local markets and such, it’s something I have done since I was a child as my mom used to drag me a long with her. I discovered the most wonderful fruit and nut trail mix this way. Admittedly when I was a child I found this incredibly boring but apparently it’s something that stuck with me as I now enjoy it a lot as an adult.

I have so many friends and family scattered all over the world so am lucky enough to get to travel a lot. Whenever I am going visiting someone one of the first things I ask is if they know of any great local farmers markets I can visit

I am going to see a friend in Northern California in a few weeks time and she’s already found out about Bella Viva who farm the rich soils of the central valley and sell delicious fruit and nuts and even delicious chocolate in and around the area.

We will definitely be paying a visit and trying out as many of their produce as we can. I can’t wait, roll on the 10th of October
