We’re getting a IBM 6700 R40 thermal printer soon and I can’t wait! I’ve always wanted a printed but have never had space for one, I am also aware that I would be too cheap to actually use it very often because I’d always be worried about the amount of ink we were using.

At the moment if I want something printing I usually wait until we go around to my parents house for tea and get my dad to do it for me – he’s always complaining about me using his ink, but he loves it really, he likes having something do and to feel useful.

It will be nice to have one at home though so we don’t need to worry about when something can get printed, if we need it there and then we can have it there and then -I’ll just have to get over having to pay for ink!
