As you know by now I get asked to do a lot of ‘work’ for my friends and family online, I am the reluctant Internet expert in my family and social group so people assume I know how to do everything from finding them the best price on a chopping block to finding a Buffalo, NY dentist.

It’s true that I do know how to quickly find things online, but that doesn’t mean I should have to. If my brother lives in St. Louis, MO and wants to find a good electrician in the area then what’s stopping him from looking himself? All I do is search google or various directories I know of.

It’s not rocket science.

I don’t mind really, it’s nice to feel useful – but one of these days when someone asks me to find engine parts in Atlanta, GA I might just tell them in a less than polite manner to go and do it themselves!
