My dad is a smoker and I am an ex smoker, since I was around 18 years old we always used to buy each other smoking related gifts at Christmas – from ashtrays and novelty lighters to cigar cutters and even fancy avo cigars.

When I quit smoking just over 4 years ago now, my dad was totally lost when it came to Christmas. That first year he bought me a lighter any way and told me that I could use it to buy candles or something – yeah, cheers dad!

I still buy him smoking paraphernalia each year though as it is still a tradition and it makes it easy for me, I can understand why he struggled at first with knowing what to get me – but he seems to have it down to a fine art now

This year I’ve decided to get him a few expensive cigars to enjoy after our big family Christmas feast, like a lot of people he only smokes cigars on special occasions so it is nice for him to have good quality ones like partagas or baccarat cigars .

I’ll probably order them from The Famous Smoke shop, they always seem to have lots of sales and offers on and have a wide range of products.

I love how easy it is to shop for my dad, if only my mom were so easy!
