Expecting twins

I have been looking at double baby strollers this afternoon – no not for me, I don’t have any sort of announcement to make
One of my friends from work just announced that she is expecting twins and was telling me how they were really going to struggle financially as they had only planned money-wise for one. I said I’d try and find her some bargains online to save her as many pennies as I can

I need to pick up some Marcus nursing uniforms for work, does any one know where I can get some cheap? The ones I have been looking at all seem quite expensive and I thought they were a lot cheaper than that the last time I bought some, although having said that it wa s a few years ago now and as we know every thing is going up in price.

New utility knife

I am looking to buy my husband a nice utility knife for his birthday – he’s owned the same one since he was a teenager and half the things on it no longer work or require a lot of muscles to get out – I think it’s about time he got a shiny new one that actually does every thing it’s supposed to do

Coupon crazy

I need to get some highlights coupons as I am in desperate need of some new ones and money is tight at the moment, does any one know of any kicking around? I don’t like to pay full price for anything to be honest so I am always on the look out for coupons for all the places I shop on a regular basis.

The ease of selling a car online

I am so happy that sites like www.sellthecar.com exist and are so easy to use – I remember when I wanted to sell my first ever car about 15 years ago now and it was a complete nightmare – ringing round all the local papers and listing it in the for sale section, usually at an astronomical cost for just a few words. Then having to deal with people calling up to ask basic questions or coming around for a look.

It’s a lot easier when you just have to write one listing that can be as long as you like so it can include all the obvious information people are likely to want to know, such as the age, mileage, colour and condition of the car. Being able to add a photo is a great plus as well as they say that people shop with their eyes – you can be an expert wordsmith and make something sound a lot more attractive than it is, but when there’s a photo right in front of your eyes it’s a lot easier to see the real deal and make your own informed decision.

The Internet in general just makes life a whole lot easier for us these days, doesn’t it?

New Ipod cases

I was just looking at iPod cases online because mine is getting rather tatty, in fairness it’s no surprise as I have had it since the day I got my ipod and that was at least 4 or 5 years ago now. I think I am going to get something a little more trendy that my current one that looks like a sock your granny might wear hehe

I discovered two motorola phone batteries a few months ago as I was having a spring clean around the house – what is odd about that though is that as far as I can remember I have never even owned a motorla phone so I have no idea where they would have come from. I have mainly had Samsung or LG phones…and I think I had an Alcatel at one stage as well, but never a Motorola

Long term car rental

I am on the look out for a good long term car rental place at the moment and it’s a tricky job indeed as there are many out there. Not knowing much about car rental in general, never mind long term car rental, it’s hard to know who is going to offer the most value for money. I came across long-term-car-rental.co.uk which seems to be about perfect for our needs – they have all kinds of vehicles like trucks and mini buses, not just cars and seem to come well recommended – they also offer really competitive prices compared to the rest of the market.

Wanting a HTC Desire

I would love to get a htc desire android, I had never really been interested in owning a smart phone before but a friend got a new HTC Desire and I got to use it for the afternoon at work and I just loved the interface and every thing you can do with it. I will definitely start saving up so that I can get one

I can’t believe that I bought some holiday cards today, they definitely weren’t on my shopping list when I left the house today what with Christmas still being more than half a year away, but when I see a bargain I can’t resist it and somewhere was selling off last years stock, 200 really nice quality and cute cards for just $1 – how could I say no?
