My lovely husband hates travelling on planes, so maybe one of the lovely Alaska cruises would be good? This is a thought that just occurred to me the other day when I was complaining (whom, me, complaining? ) to my Mother In Law about the fact my husband hates travelling on planes to the point where we rarely get to leave the country and she mentioned that I should get him on a boat instead.

Why did I not think of that sooner I wondered, it really is an obvious solution to the issue.

We are not due a vacation any time soon so I am going to keep the suggestion to myself for now and just quietly look up cruises on CruiseLocators to see what is available near to here, without the need for travelling on a plane and at an affordable price.

I was always under the impression cruises were really expensive which is why perhaps I had not thought about it sooner – but a quick look reveals that it’s actually not too bad. Maybe a tiny little bit more expensive, but if it meant getting out of the country to some gorgeous far flung place then it would be totally worth it
